The food was amazingly delicious, the plating was great, and the portions were generous! We enjoyed the Maple Bourbon Salmon, Clam Chowder and Chicken Saltimbocca, and a hamburger. All were very good! The wine was great as well! We enjoyed the beautiful and unique decor of the restaurant, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the view of the Puget Sound! I cannot wait to visit again!!

Our recent lunch at Ivar's Acres of Clams was a delightful experience that showcased the best of Pacific Northwest seafood. The restaurant's waterfront location on Seattle's Pier 54 offers stunning views of Puget Sound. We began our meal with Ivar's famous clam chowder, a creamy concoction generously filled with tender potatoes and sizable clams. Each spoonful was rich and flavorful, embodying the essence of traditional Northwest cuisine. For our main courses, we opted for the Salmon BLT and the Potato Crusted Scallops with risotto. The Salmon BLT featured a substantial piece of perfectly grilled salmon, complemented by crispy bacon, fresh Romaine lettuce, and ripe tomatoes, all nestled within a toasted bun. The accompanying fries were golden and crisp, rounding out a satisfying dish. The Scallops were a highlight, presented with a delectable potato crust and served over creamy risotto. The scallops were cooked to perfection, their delicate flavor enhanced by the rich risotto, making each bite a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. The service was attentive and friendly, with staff ensuring our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. The restaurant's ambiance, combined with its culinary offerings, makes it a must-visit destination. Ivar's Acres of Clams not only met but exceeded our expectations, offering a memorable lunch that we look forward to repeating on future visits.

A must try if you’re in Seattle whether you’re a local or just visiting, it’s right on the water, the atmosphere is beautiful and the service was just awesome. The food? Phenomenal, I’ve never had a better clam chowder and clam fettuccine. Highly recommend for any seafood lover!

The clam chowder was delightful here but it wasn't anything special in my opinion! The clam chowder had lots of clams and more ingredients in it than other clam chowder places. But what was special was the staff's attentiveness and their attitude. I loved seeing the sea gulls being fed by people through the window.

An excellent seafood dining experience for the middling budget. Went here for a staff appreciation lunch at my office, and it was delightful! Made a reservation and got in just before the lunch rush. The staff was well kept, courteous, and accommodating, having well earned a substantial tip. The view of the Sound and the mountains beyond was a treat, and we were lucky to make it on a day without any clouds so we got a full view. The food was top quality! Calamari is to die for, and the artichoke dip is cheesy and delicious (though if you have a large party you may want to ask for extra bread to go with it, a little goes a long way). I got a spicy halibut seasonal special that made me re-evaluate my general dislike for white fish, so take that for what it's worth! Overall an excellent experience, and well worth the very reasonable price.

My visit to Ivars Seafood on the pier in Seattle was nothing short of fantastic, blending delicious food, speedy service, and great value with a vibrant waterfront vibe. This iconic spot exceeded expectations, making it a standout dining experience. The service was impressively fast. Even with a busy crowd, the line moved quickly, and the staff took my order with friendly efficiency. Within minutes, my food arrived, hot and perfectly prepared, letting me dive into my meal while enjoying the stunning Puget Sound views. The quick turnaround was ideal for a bustling pier location, ensuring no time was wasted. I opted for the fish and chips, a classic done right. The cod was flaky, tender, and coated in a crispy, golden batter that stayed light, not greasy. The thick-cut fries were perfectly seasoned and plentiful. I also tried the clam chowder, a creamy, flavorful bowl packed with tender clams and potatoes, offering warmth against the cool Seattle air. Every bite showcased fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the menu’s variety, from grilled salmon to shrimp, tempted me for future visits. Pricing was a pleasant surprise. For a prime waterfront spot, I braced for high costs, but Ivars keeps it affordable. My fish and chips were around 12, and a hearty bowl of chowder was under 7. These prices felt like a bargain for such generous portions and fresh seafood in a tourist hub. I left satisfied without feeling overcharged, a rare win for pier dining. The atmosphere elevated the experience. Ivars offers great indoor and outdoor seating options, catering to any preference. I chose an outdoor table to soak in the salty breeze and watch ferries glide by. The indoor seating looked cozy, perfect for cooler days. Both areas were clean and well-maintained, with a casual vibe that welcomed everyone, from locals to tourists. The staff ensured tables turned over quickly without making anyone feel rushed. A quirky highlight was the signage about the birds. Signs playfully noted that “seagulls have big appetites” while “pigeons do not,” adding a fun touch to the experience. It was a lighthearted nod to the seagulls swooping nearby, hoping for a fry, and it sparked smiles among diners. This clever detail made the setting feel even more lively and connected to the waterfront environment. The staff’s attention to detail sealed the deal. Tartar sauce and malt vinegar came in perfect portions, and the packaging was practical for eating on the go or at a table. The team was warm, answering menu questions with enthusiasm, making me feel like a valued guest despite the fast pace. Ivars Seafood on the pier is a must-visit. The food is fresh, flavorful, and fairly priced, with speedy service that doesn’t skimp on quality. The indoor and outdoor seating options, paired with the amusing seagull and pigeon signs, create a memorable atmosphere. Whether you’re after a быстрыи bite or a relaxed meal with a view, Ivars nails it. I’m already planning my next trip to this Seattle gem.

Absolutely 5 stars! We had an incredible experience at Ivar’s Acres of Clams thanks to Robert and Connor. Last night, we arrived right at closing due to a wrong closing time on Google, and they were still kind, welcoming, and accommodating. We came back today for lunch and were greeted like family. We started with the coconut shrimp—crispy, flavorful, and a perfect opener. The clam chowder was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. My partner had the fried halibut and chips, golden and flaky, while I enjoyed the pan-seared halibut—perfectly cooked and seasoned. Every bite was delicious, and the view of the Puget Sound made it all even better. Robert and Connor’s exceptional customer service made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend this spot for the food, the view, and the incredible hospitality!

Wow!! This place was amazing! The atmosphere was incredible, and the food was great. We ordered the bread and calamari appetizers. Then I had the fish and chips combo—the seafood was really fresh. I highly recommend booking a table in advance, as the place is often fully booked—especially if you’re in a group of more than six people. Even on weekdays, it gets busy due to the cruise ships docked at the pier next to the restaurant.
